It really depends on your preference and a bit of your lifestyle. Our happiest customers drink one packet in the morning, one in the afternoon, one in the evening to wind down for bedtime and tell us they feel great doing so. It’s also great to rehydrate during or after your workout.
Hydrate is high in electrolytes, which is comparable to pediatric oral rehydration drinks and traditional sports drinks, so keep that in mind if your kid is consuming a lot. Additionally, our ENERGY formula contains 100mg of caffeine, so you may not want them drinking those flavors!

1. Choose your desired amount of cold water between 8 to 16 oz, based on taste preference. If you’re looking for a stronger flavor, we recommend 8 oz!
2. Open 1 Hydrant electrolyte powder packet.
3. Pour the contents of the packet into cold water (we enjoy it over ice!).
4. Stir the mixture until the powder is fully dissolved.
5. Enjoy your Hydrant electrolyte beverage for fast-acting hydration.

Hydrant contains less sugar than traditional sports drinks made with sugar or dextrose or high fructose corn syrup, no artificial sweeteners, and is more environmentally friendly with 97% less CO2 and plastic, making it a healthier and eco-friendly alternative.
Nope! Hydrant does not have any artificial sweeteners or stevia. We do use a dash of monk fruit extract in our mix for added sweetness.
Sodium is the most abundant electrolyte in your body, but it has a bad reputation because it raises your blood pressure, and is found in high quantities in processed and fast foods. For potent hydration that really works, you need that high sodium content, which mirrors the naturally high content you have in your body. Potassium has the reverse effect on your blood pressure, and actually counteracts the high sodium content. In Hydrant, our formula mirrors your body's bloodstream to give you the higher sodium and potassium content you need to replenish these lost electrolytes.
Hydrant contains 0-4g of added sugar per serving depending on the flavor. We include sugar in Hydrant because it actually helps to speed up the absorption of the electrolytes and water into your bloodstream. It does this by activating the sodium-glucose co-transport mechanism within your body, essentially working as a molecular pump in your body. When the pump is activated (aka when sugar is present), your cells' absorption rate of electrolytes and water is sped up helping you hydrate faster.
Does sugar hydrate you?
We get this question a lot - and the answer is it depends on what function you're using. For sleep, we would recommend no more than 2 sticks in 24 hours. For Energy, no more than 3 sticks in 24 hours (300mg of caffeine), For Immunity, 1 stick in 24 hours, and then for Hydrate you can have as many as 8, but we'd recommend closer to 4 as your maximum. One of each function in 24 hours? Totally fine!
