Compared to sports drinks, or bottled water, we use 97% less plastic. Let's be clear though, we still use plastic in both our stick pack and our pouches. We're actively searching for ways that we can reduce this further with new materials.
Currently the materials available don't protect our product as well as our existing plastic film, but we're actively working on this!
Holding that same comparison to a sports drink or bottled water, drinking a Hydrant with a reusable water bottle uses 97% less CO2. This is largely because we're not shipping water around the country - why bother when you have it in your tap at home already?
